Day 2 (11.06.2024)- FN Session  : The Skill of Explaining

Mrs. S.Andal, & Mrs. K.Deepa, Assistant Professor demonstrating the Skill of Explaining

 Mrs. S.Andal, Assistant Professor (SS) & Mrs. K.Deepa, Assistant Professor, Department of Education handled the session on ‘the skill of explaining’.  They demonstrated the components include teacher enthusiasm, creating readiness by a beginning statement or topic sentence, effective explanation, planned repetition, and concluding statements or key messages with summary of explanation with model lesson and lesson plan. They also explained how to improve the skill.

Day 2 (11.06.2024)- AN Session  : Practice of the Skill of Explaining

The experts divided the participants into 2 groups for observation. Each participant was writing a lesson plan and taken a model lesson based on the skill of explaining. Each participant’s presentation was observed by 2 observers from the participants and the expert. They shared their observations and suggestions.
