REPORT
FOR THE YEAR 2018-19
Social services and social work have important role in
helping the people to improve the quality of life by creating awareness and
sustain the community by creating employment opportunities on their own effort.
Engaging in community service provides students with the opportunity to become
active members of their community and has a lasting, positive impact on society
at large. Community service or volunteerism enables students to acquire life
skills and knowledge, as well as provide a service to those who need it most.
Learning is an automatic process but possessing and
acquiring skill is a learnt process. Skill is the upgraded version where we
have to apply the knowledge in a correct way. As future teachers, they are
supposed to imbibe various skills of teaching and improve our communication
with the public .As a part of our department, our institute offers CSS- Community and Social Service Programs
for the enhancement of social and service
skills. As teams and as individuals
took part in many programs, which was for the benefit of both the
students and the community. Through these programs, we have improved skills in
all the aspects to shine bright.
To full fill the goal of CSS, the Department of Education
